This is the second-most common problem affecting most laptops and desktop computers. On a desktop computer, the most common problem is that is mostly the power supply unit. Even though a lot of our customers are under the impression of a bad power button, it is rarely the case. They generally wear out on their own.
Talking about the laptop ones are a whole different story. The laptop’s power supply is very stable and rarely goes bad. In fact, most of the ones we replace are actually the ones chewed on by your favorite pet. With that said, most laptops have a problem with a bad DC jack. It is mostly broken as misuse rather than going bad by itself. It mostly happens when a laptop is plugged in and is pulled by mistake or dropping it when it is plugged in.
